Youth&Spa workshop at the European Week of Regions and Cities
The Youth&Spa partnership got the opportunity to hold a session in the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWoRc) in Brussels on 8 October 2019. “EWoRC is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.”
During our session, we will focus on the 4 main challenges of rural towns such as lack of cooperation and rural-territorial cohesion, youth migration, low interests in decision-making processes and low voter turnout in EU Elections. Our aim is to incite dialogue between youth and policy-makers about these issues and try to find a common solution for these problems.
